i figured i would keep this short and sweet and let the pictures do most of the talking. i'm not goin to lie, it was pretty creepy at first to walk around with all those people in tall pointy hooded costumes (which of course made every American student think of the KKK) but after a few days i got used to it. and on the last night i looked down to fiddle with my camera and i got bumped into and when i looked up, some of the costumed guys had left the street and were coming right at me! i was scared to death! it turned out that their family was standing right behind me, but i was pretty startled for a bit!
anyway, i hope you enjoy getting to see a little glimpse of what i got to see on a HUGE scale all week. (i'm talking thousands of people in costume, hundreds of huge floats, and people making pilgrimages until the wee hours of the morning)
happy belated Easter! isn't is great that our savior rose again so that we can have life and live it to the fullest? (although, some of us are living it a little fuller than others right now cause we are getting to live in Spain, haha!)
